  1. I think is a great resource. Its free so many people post candid pictures if you need children for like a more homely feel and not so staged.
I wonder how they can get children to pose without a lot of hassle? CHildren are just so hard to work with.

    1. I love taking pictures of my four year old. I think any age after 5 is a lot easier to pose. I do pose my 4 year old, but she often looks away. That being said some of the best pictures I've gotten of her are just letting her play wherever we're doing the photoshoot.

As for photobucket, it can be a good resource, but if you need photos to use commercially then you'll want to have permission and a signed model release form, or otherwise stick with royalty free stock sites like the two listed above, or paid stock sites like istockphoto.

      Thanks for your insight!

  2. I have been blogging about this same topic for nearly 2 years now, - what I have always believed is that it needs time to work to be able to overcome in this particular thing. But when I read your post, I was really amazed that there are many ways to go about it and acquire and even much better final results. Maybe that is why I've not really had a great number of loyal readers. I ought to have consulted your website first before starting my very own.
